Ernest Paul Claytor, Jr., age 49, of Osawatomie, Kansas, died February 20, 2015 at his home. Ernie was born March 22, 1965 at Melbourne, Florida. He was the son of Ernest P., Sr., and Mary Frances (Walker) Claytor. He attended school in Melbourne, Florida and Prairie View High School in LaCygne. Ernie was a traveler, moving from Florida to Kansas in 1979. He moved back to Florida a few times before settling back in Kansas in 2006. He worked as a supervisor for Gordon Energy and Drainage out of Olathe in the 1990s. He was forced to take disability due to his health in 2000. Ernie was a craftsman, known for making something out of nothing. He was an amazing cook and was always cleaning. In his younger years in Florida he was a clam hunter and fisherman. Whenever Ernie would visit his children, he always brought gifts and made sure he made them laugh before leaving them. He was preceded in death by his brother Robbie Claytor. He is survived by his parents Ernest Paul, Sr., and Mary Claytor of LaCygne; his son Codie Claytor of Osawatomie; four daughters Jody Miller of Butler, Missouri, triplets Kimberly Claytor of Harrisonville, Missouri, Shelby Claytor of LaCygne, and Lindsay Claytor of Osawatomie; sister Lisa Claytor of Pleasanton; brother Paul Claytor of LaCygne; three grandchildren Preston, Noah, and Aaron; other relatives and friends.
