Erma Verna Mccaskey

Erma Verna McCaskey age 102 of Paola, passed away November 25th at the Blackhawk Assisted Living Facility in Spring Hill. Erma Verna Zebert McCaskey was born June 5, 1912 to John Gottlieb and Bertha Flake Zebert at Somerset, Kansas. She was married to Frank McCaskey February 28, 1938 at Olathe, KS. They made their home of 53 years on a farm west of Paola, KS. Frank McCaskey died November 2, 1990. Erma stayed on the farm. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Ora Fort, Helen Williams, Elsie Brocker, 4 brothers, Otto, Amel, Louis, August and daughter-in-law Judy McCaskey. Erma is survived by 1 sister Florence Downey, her son JC McCaskey, 6 grandchildren Stacy Fish (Bernie), Alan McCaskey (Nicole), BJ McCaskey (Amy), Brenda Roe (Lance), Belinda McCaskey (Nick Kramer), and Mary Larson, 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
