Elsie Flake

Elsie Clara Flake, 87, of Paola, Kansas passed away March 10, 2012 at her home. Elsie was born September 30, 1924 in Hope, Kansas to Arnold and Emma Wangerin Schlesener. Elsie was a care giver for the Cooker family for many years before their passing. On August 25, 1962 she was united in marriage to Ed Flake in Marshfield, Missouri. They made their home in rural Paola where Elsie helped on the family farm. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and visiting with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers Harry and Clem Schlesener; and one sister Lydia Dagerforde. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
