Ellen Anders

Sarah "Ellen" Zimmerman Anders, 87, of Paola, Kansas passed away at the home of her son, Roger on September 29, 1017. Ellen was born on March 29, 1930 in Parker, Kansas to Roy and Edith (Carmen) Bearly. She graduated from Parker High School in 1948. She was married to Maurice E. Zimmerman in 1950 until his death in 1992. They had four children. She later married Louis Anders. Ellen is survived by her husband, Louis, two sisters, Marie Walker of Paola and Grace Carothers of La Cygne, 4 children, Roger (Paula) Zimmerman of Paola, Frankie (Jim) Brewer of Louisburg, Mark (Debbie) Zimmerman of Paola, Rebecca (Troy) Landers of Fort Scott, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Maurice Zimmerman and 2 brothers, William and Leslie Bearly. She loved to fish, be outdoors, travel, and was an avid crafter. She dearly loved her family and will be missed by all who loved her. The family is planning to hold a celebration of life at a later date.
