Elijah Wade Ball

Elijah Wade Ball was born on Saturday, December 24, 2005, in Olathe, Kansas. He was the son of Wade and Amy (Castleberry) Ball. Elijah lived with his parents in Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas, until his death on Friday, April 27, 2007, at the age of one year, four months. Elijah enjoyed attending First Baptist Church in Ottawa. He loved being outdoors and especially liked to play chase. He also liked all kinds of music and had fun dancing. Elijah was a vivacious, loving little boy who brought such joy to his family. He is survived by his parents; grandfather, Roger Ball of Rantoul, Kansas; grandparents, Steve and Gracie Castleberry of Rantoul, Kansas; great-grandfather, Donald Meyer of Richter, Kansas; great-grandmother, Elenor Ball of Rantoul, Kansas; great-grandfather, Clifford Castleberry of Crestview, Missouri; great-grandmother, Anna Mae Cooper of Nevada, Missouri; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church in Ottawa at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2007. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Elijah at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 12:00 noon Tuesday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 Tuesday evening.
