Eleanor Watson

Eleanor P. Watson age 86 of Paola passed away Dec.22, (cremation) Memorial Service Pending. Memorials to the Eleanor Watson Memorial Fund in care of Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel 305 N. Pearl , Paola KS 66071 Survivors are her daughter Robin Case and Granddaughter Corina Copp, sisters Alice Nelson and Rebecca Wirkus. Condolences can be put on penwellgabel.com. Eleanor was born Jan. 5, 1922 in Waubay S.D. to Marion and Katharine Erskine Peterson. She received her BS and Internship and misc. Grad Studies in the Dietian Field. On May 6, 1951 she was united in marriage to William E. Watson in Waubay S.D. They moved to the State in 1967 and to Paola in 1972, where she practiced Intuitional Dietetics for the Health Dept along with other agencies. She was a very devoted worker and caring person to all that knew her. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors are her daughter, Robin Case of Kansas City, MO. and granddaughter Corina Copp of Brooklyn NY, sister Alice Nelson of Mesa AZ. and sister Rebecca K.P. Wirkus of SanDiego, CA. she will be greatly missed by family and friends
