RESIDENCE HISTORY: He lived for many years at Marion, Iowa, moving to Olathe in 1980. In 1991, he moved to Rantoul, and in 2002, moved to Ottawa. OCCUPATION & BUSINESS: Edward worked for the Burlington Railroad in the early 1960`s to the late 1970`s as a lineman. In 1980, he worked for the Olathe School District as a custodian, retiring in 1992. GOVERNMENT SERVICE: He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War, from 1951 to 1953, attaining the rank of Private First Class. MEMBERSHIPS: Edward was a member of the American Legion Post #153 and V.F.W., both of Olathe. MARRIAGE: On July 24, 1973, Edward was united in marriage with Susan Griffith at Marion, Iowa. She survives. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mr. Wickham at Dengel & Son Mortuary from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8 Thursday evening. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Edward Henry Wickham Memorial Fund, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
