Ed was a lifelong Franklin County resident. He graduated from Wellsville High School with the class of 1924. Ed was a farmer and also owned and operated a wholesale beer business, Seyler Beverage Company, for fifteen years, retiring in 1958. He was a member of Modern Woodmen and Aerie Lodge #2700, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Ottawa. On November 18, 1930, Ed was united in marriage with Pearl Bartz at Ottawa, Kansas. She preceded him in death on October 2, 2002. SERVICES: Graveside funeral services will be held from Highland Cemetery 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2005. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mr. Seyler after 9 a.m. Tuesday to the service hour at the Dengel & Son Mortuary where family will receive friends from 7 to 8 Tuesday evening.
