Edna Mae Foltz

Edna Mae Foltz, 79, of Richmond, passed away at home surrounded by family Friday, August 30, 2019. Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, September 7, 2019, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Richmond. Family will meet with friends at 9:30 A.M., Saturday, September 7th, one hour prior to service at the church. Private family inurnment will be held later at Princeton Cemetery. Edna was born May 5, 1940, in Garnett, Kansas, the daughter of Edward G. and Christina (Rockers) Miller. She was a lifelong Anderson and Franklin County resident. She graduated from Garnett High School with the class of 1958. Edna was united in marriage to Ron Foltz October 19, 1960, in Garnett. He survives of the home. Other survivors include son, Rodney Foltz and wife Cynde of Pomona; two siblings, Bill Miller and wife Janice of Greeley and Thelma Slinkard and husband Ron of Georgia; two grandchildren, Danielle Charlton and husband Rusty of Burlington and Michelle Foltz and Jonathan McCormick of Gardner; and four great grandchildren, Jace and Tanner Allen and Kaitlynne and Olivia Charlton. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Earl Miller and Leroy Miller. Edna worked at Richmond Locker and Stinson Processing for 20 years of combined employment. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Edna enjoyed camping, cooking, baking, flower gardening and sewing. Above all, she loved spending time with her family especially the grandchildren.
