Earlene Hudson

Earlene M. Hudson, age 81, of Paola passed away on December 7, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Earlene was born on January 30, 1930 in Eskridge, Kansas to Jesse and Carol (John) McEndree. She graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1948. Earlene was united in marriage to Frank W. Hudson Jr. on October 1, 1949 in Overland Park, Kansas. She worked for the Shawnee Mission School District for 25 years as an administrative assistant. Earlene was a Den Mother for Cub Scouts, a scorekeeper for her children"s ball teams, and was involved with the PTA. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, cooking, traveling, dancing and spending time with her family. Earlene is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers. She is survived by her husband Frank Jr. of the home; sons Terry W. and wife Jimmie Hudson of Harrisonville, MO; and Ricky L. and wife Debra L. Hudson of Paola sister Betty Gloe of Burlingame, California; brother Mervin L. McEndree of Shawnee KS; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
