Duane Henry DuFrain, age 65, of Wellsville, Kan., died Monday, September 15, 2003 . He was the son of the late Adolph DuFrain and the late Loretta (Roth) DuFrain. He is also survived by his wife LaVonne (Buchholz) DuFrain; One Daughter, Daughter-Laurie McAloon of Moran, Kan. Two Sons, Son-Rick DuFrain of Chanute, Kan. Son-Randy DuFrain of Wellsville, Kan. Four Sisters, Sister-Dorothy Cahoy of Mitchell, S.D. Sister-Maurine Cahoy of Mitchell, S.D. Sister-Marguerite Larsen of Platte, S.D. Sister-Lucille Dufek of Geddes, S.D. He has lived in Wellsville the past sixteen years. He had previously lived in Iola for five years and in the Alpena, South Dakota area. He was a truck driver/dispatcher for Koch Industries of Wichita, Kansas, for twenty-one years, retiring in 2000. He was a former member of the United States Army Reserves. On September 13, 1960, Duane was united in marriage with LaVonne F. Buchholz at Huron, South Dakota. She survives of their home. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2003. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Tony Godfrey. IN STATE: Mr. DuFrain will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 Wednesday evening. CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery.
