Dr. John T. Dundee, age 81, of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of Princeton, Kansas, died Thursday, September 30, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Cremation is planned with no services. John was born on Tuesday, November 21, 1939, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the son of Dr. Joseph McKinney and Elizabeth Field "Betty" (Mellon) Dundee. He grew up in Ireland, moved to London, England in 1968, to Northern Fort St. John, British Columbia from 1970 until 1974, Richmond, Virginia from 1974 until 1976, Bedford, Indiana from 1976 until 1978, and to Maryville, Missouri from 1978 until moving to the Ottawa area in 1986. Dr. Dundee graduated from Campbell College in 1957, Queens University medical training in Belfast, Ireland in 1963; did the first half of his residency at Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, Ireland 1965-1968 and the second half at Kings College in London, England 1968-1970. On Thursday, May 23, 1991, John was united in marriage with Debra L. “Deb” Shackelford at Lyndon, Kansas. She survives of their home. Dr. Dundee was self-employed as a Radiologist. He was an avid learner and enjoyed reading, gardening and photography. John was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Joseph and Elizabeth Dundee. He is survived by sons, Ian Dundee and his wife, Lyn of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Paul Dundee and his wife, Renee of Austin, Texas, and Bradley Vulgamott of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; daughters, Clare Guluzian and her husband, Aram of Tampa, Florida, Rhiannon Hoeweler and her husband, Brad of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Brandi Vulgamott and her husband, Mike Wick of Coppell, Texas; brother, Robert Dundee of Whitehead, Northern Ireland, and grandchildren, Christopher Dundee, Curtis Dundee, Joshua Dundee, Alexander Guluzian, Gregory Guluzian, Mara Guluzian, Macallan Hoeweler, Xavier Wick, Julia and Finley Dundee.
