Douglas Edward Dabrowski age 39, Olathe, KS passed away November 25, 2017. He was born on May 31, 1978 in Joplin, MO, the son of Edward and Deloris (Poe) Dabrowski. He was united in marriage to Amanda Bell on February 14, 2014 at the Louisburg United Methodist Church, Louisburg, KS. Doug worked as a supervisor for Steel and Pipe Supply Company in Gardner, KS for over seven years. He changed his life around and became a wonderful husband and father and made sure that everyone was taken care of. “Boogie” was the nickname he gave to his daughter, Olivia, from the time she was born, and in return she also called him “Boogie”. He was one of the Chiefs biggest fans, you could say he was obsessed with watching them play. In 2014 he purchased a new “Harley” and it (the bike) also became a member of the family. Doug loved spending time at home with his girls. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Dabrowski and grandparents, Sigmond and Loretta Dabrowski and William (Bill) and Bessie Poe. Survivors include his wife, Amanda, Olathe, KS; two daughters, Olivia Dabrowski, Olathe, KS and Kali Dabrowski, Kansas City, MO; his mother, Deloris Dabrowski, Olathe, KS; four sisters, Carolyn (Bill) Worthington, Marilyn (Jurgen) Krauss, Tammy (Chris) Noyes and Dawn (Jeff) Hammons; eight nieces and nephews; three great nieces and three great nephews. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Louisburg United Methodist Church 249 N. Metcalf Louisburg, KS., funeral service following at 11:30 a.m. Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe, KS.
