Dorothy V. “Dot” Mollett, 69, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015, at her home in Ottawa, Kansas. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Dot was born Tuesday, June 4, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Vivian (Gieber) Norton. She was a lifelong Ottawa resident, attending Ottawa schools. Dot was united in marriage with Don Mollett October 7, 1965, in Ottawa. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her two children, Stacy Corbin and husband Ron of St. Louis, Missouri and Tim Mollett of Ottawa; four siblings, Jo Connor and husband Carl, Sr. of Ottawa, Debbie Nickel and husband David of Peabody, Cindy Norton-Mitchell and husband Terry of Ottawa, and Danny Norton and wife Kathy of Estes Park, Colorado; four grandchildren, Chase Corbin, Jacob Hugget Corbin and Taylor Corbin all of St. Louis, and Jeffery Mollett of Ottawa; and three great-grandchildren, Daisy Corbin, Khillean Hugget and Annamay Miller all of St. Louis. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sharon Baugher and Charlotte Norton; and brother, Chuck Norton, Jr. Dot was a devoted lifelong homemaker who enjoyed being at home with her family. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, cards and crocheting. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 5901 Auxiliary.
