Dorothy Raygene Wright

Dorothy Raygene Wright, age 86, of Louisburg passed away at the North Point Care Center, Thursday, May 9 (cremation). Memorials may be made to "My Father"s House" in care of the funeral home. Dorothy was born on April 21, 1927 in Batesville, Arkansas to Alexander and Myrtle Cook McCarroll. She grew up and graduated from high school in the Batesville area. On April 26, 1948 she was united in marriage to Ray Dene Wright in Batesville, Arkansas. Dorothy spent most of her married life in Wichita Kansas where she was a homemaker and a nanny for local families in Wichita. She enjoyed music, flowers, reading, and attending grandchildren"s school events. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Cole, sister Eileen, and half sisters Thelma and Fern McSpadden. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Survivors are her son Ray and his wife Debi Wright of Paola, sisters Betty Harris and Lee Webster of Batesville Arkansas, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
