Occupation: Dottie worked seven years in the late 1940`s and early 1950`s as a clerk typist for the Department of Agriculture, Manhattan Kansas. From 1965 to 1988, she was bookkeeper and office manager at the Veterinary Clinic, Ottawa, Kansas. Memberships: Dottie was a member of the state and national Veterinary Association Auxiliary, Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Kansas State University Alumni Association. Marriage: On August 15, 1953, Dottie was united in marriage with Dr. William Harold `Doc` Hay at Manhattan, Kansas. He survives of their home. Services: Funeral services will be held at the Dengel & Son Mortuary 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 10, 2007. In State: Mrs. Hay will lie in state after 5:00 PM Monday at Dengel & Son Mortuary to service hour, where the family will meet with friends from 7 to 8 Tuesday evening. Cemetery: Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas. Memorials: The family suggests memorials to Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
