Dorothy Faye Booton, 76, of Louisburg, KS passed away February 10, 2015 at her home. Dorothy was born in Galena, KS on July 31, 1938, the daughter of William Otto and Sarah Faye (Clark) Woods. Dorothy"s family moved from Galena to Kansas City, Missouri when she was quite young. Following a short stay in Kansas City, Missouri, they moved to an area that is now occupied by the Kansas City International Airport. Dorothy and James (Jim) both worked at a catalogue mail order company when they met. They were united in marriage on February 18, 1956 at Northmoor, Missouri. They lived in and around the Kansas City area for about eight years before moving to Louisburg. Dorothy became the homemaker and Jim became an electrician working out of Local Union #124 IBEW. Dorothy was one of seven children. Preceding her in death were her parents, one daughter, Valorie Lynn O"Connell; three brothers, Billy Dale, Richard Otto and David Woods; and one sister, Barbara Ann Brown. Survivors include her husband, James, of the home; two sons, Rodney Dwain Booton, Louisburg, KS and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Dale Booton, Mesa, Arizona; two sisters, Judith Collins, Osawatomie, KS and Deanna Anderson, Springhill, KS; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
