Donna Smith

Donna Lea Smith, age 68, passed away November 14, 2011 at the Villa St. Francis Nursing Home in Olathe, Kansas. Donna was born August 25, 1943 in Marysville, California to Ernest "Pete" and Mildred Tush Smith. She was raised in Kansas after the family moved in 1945. In 1978 she was employed by Johnson County Development Services where she retired after 30 years of service. Donna was a loving and friendly person and never met a stranger. She enjoyed reading, watching sporting events, enjoyed game shows, and visiting with people, and had lots of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry Dean Smith, and sister Darla Goodwin. Surviving her is her beloved cat Ryan, sister Linda Russell of Raymore, Missouri and a host of relatives and friends. Paola Cemetery, 909 W.
