Donna E. Magee, age 75, of Princeton, Kansas, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at her residence. She was born on Thursday, February 1, 1934, in Sibley, Missouri. She was the daughter of Robert Greenlee and Vendetta (Gillette) Falconer. She grew up in the Sibley, Missouri area. Following her marriage, she and her husband lived in Independence, Missouri; Buckner, Missouri; and ten years in Tulsa, Oklahoma, prior to moving to Princeton in 1972. Donna graduated from Halls Memorial High School in Buckner, Missouri, with the class of 1952. She was a homemaker. She was a cook for fourteen years for U.S.D. 288 at Central Heights School, and also worked a short time for Mid-America Nutrition. She was a member of Princeton Christian Church, serving as Treasurer; and volunteer for Central Heights School and Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, serving as auxiliary president for three years, from 2005 to 2007. She was also presently serving as Mayor of Princeton, having been elected to her first term in 2001. On Saturday, June 28, 1952, Donna was united in marriage with James Franklin Magee in Sibley, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1989. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Son-James F. D. Farrar, Landau Lang, Spree Lang, R. J. Magee, Tyler Magee Ten Great-Grandchildren Twelve Great-Great-Grandchildren SHE IS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Husband-James F. Magee Father-Robert Greenlee Falconer Mother-Vendetta Falconer SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2009. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Donna at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 p.m. Sunday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends from 4:00 to 5:00 Sunday afternoon.
