Donn Allan Sartain

Donn Allan Sartain, 37 ,of Ottawa, Kansas died on Monday, July 2, 2007 at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa, Kansas. He was born on Saturday, July 19, 1969, in St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Timothy P. Sartain, Sr. and Wilma (Wagnon) Sartain. He lived in Ottawa since 2004, moving from Glendale, Arizona, where he had resided since 1995. Donn graduated from Kofa High School, Yuma, Arizona, with the class of 1987 and Phoenix, Arizona Automotive Technical School, as a certified automobile and diesel mechanic, with an Associate Arts Degree. He worked as a mechanic six years in the 1990's. He was currently employed in management for Applebee's of Ottawa, where he began as a server in 2004. On February 25, 1995, Donn was united in marriage with Peggy Dickover in Glendale, Arizona. She survives of Glendale. Survivors include: Parents-Timothy P. Sartain, Sr. & Wilma Sartain of Ottawa, Kan. Wife-Peggy Dickover of Glendale, Ariz. Daughter-Kelsey Jean Sartain of the home Brother-Timothy P. Sartain, II of Ottawa, Kan. Brother-John E. Sartain of Ottawa, Kan. Sister & brother-in-law-Jean R. & Terry Moreno of Glendale, Ariz. Paternal Grandmother-Lola V. Carpenter of Independence, Mo. Maternal Grandmother-Billi J. Wilson of Colorado Springs, Colo. Nephew-Andrew M. Moreno of Glendale, Ariz. Nephew-Nicholas Moreno of Glendale, Ariz. Aunts, Uncles & Cousins-Many He was preceded in death by: Daughter-Ashley Sartain in 1989 Brother-Marcus Lee Sartain in 1976 SERVICES: Graveside funeral services will be held at Evergreen Mound Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2007. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mr. Sartain at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa, after 1:00 p.m. Thursday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 Thursday evening.
