Donald Eugene Moore, age 60, of Osawatomie, Kansas, formerly of Olathe, Kansas, died July 23, 2016 at Life Care Center, Osawatomie, Kansas. Donald was born May 26, 1956 at Berwyn, Illinois. He was the younger of two children born to Lester Eugene and Nancy Lee (Young) Moore. He was raised by his maternal grandparents. He grew up in Paw Paw, Illinois and graduated from Paw Paw, Illinois High School with the Class of 1974. He was united in marriage to Janell Lorraine Clark on June 3, 2005. They made their home in Olathe and moved to Osawatomie in 2007. He served his country with the United States Army. He entered the Army on May 30, 1975 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was honorably discharged May 23, 1978. Don worked as a mechanical engineer. He had worked at Husqvarna in Olathe. He was self-employed with helping hands specializing in helping those in need specifically the elderly and disabled. Don had many hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, reading western novels, and watching western movies. He was an avid horsemen. Most of all, he enjoyed the time he spent entertaining his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Billy, and sister Vicki Hubbard. He is survived by his wife Janell of the home; his children Bryanna Ryann Rucker (Johnathan) of Davenport, IA, twin sons David and Allan Moore of Abilene, Kansas, January Clark of the home, Patrick Parlee (Kathryn) of Olathe, Jennifer Clark (Josh Treece) of Spring Hill, and a host of grandchildren.
