Dianne Marie Winsky

Dianne Winsky, age 68, died Sunday, January 17, 2010, at her home in Ottawa, Kansas. She was born on Tuesday, September 9, 1941, in Hoisington, Kansas. She was the youngest child of George and Margaret (Ernst) Tauscher. She has been a resident of Ottawa since 1977. Dianne graduated from Hoisington High School with the class of 1960. She graduated from the St. Joseph School of Nursing in Wichita, Kansas in 1963, as a Registered Nurse. Her lifelong nursing career included employment as an RN at the Halstead Hospital, Topeka Sate Hospital, Ottawa Retirement Village, Osawatomie State Hospital, Medical Lodge and, most recently, Lake Mary’s Center in Paola. On Saturday, September 7, 1963, Dianne was united in marriage with Merle Winsky in Hoisington, Kansas. He survives of their home. SERVICES: A visitation and celebration of her life will be held at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 23, 2010. Cremation is planned.
