Diana’s life centered around caring for others. Jobs included an LPN, a paraprofessional at Lakemary Center, a CCD teacher and preschool teacher. Diana’s most treasured work was the years she could stay at home to care for her family and children. Her greatest pride was the accomplishments and character of her children and grandchildren. Diana’s faith underpinned her constant compassion and kindness toward others. Through many decades she often volunteered at Holy Trinity Church for masses, holy hour and church events. At home she expressed her faith through reading, learning, conversation and prayer. She modeled service, empathy, grace, gratitude, sacrifice for others, and loving everyone she encountered as thyself. Diana was creative, a green thumb, a great cook, baker and sewist. She loved to write and laugh and sing and make things for her family.

Diana will be remembered as a kind, nurturing and loving mother and wife. As a dedicated homemaker, teacher and nurse. And as a devout Catholic who lived her faith through kindness and service to others. Her legacy will live on in her children and grandchildren.

Diana’s services will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Paola, Kansas at a later date and will be announced soon.
