Dennis Eugene Nelson

Dennis Eugene Nelson was born August 18, 1959, at Van Buren, Arkansas. He was the son of Winford Nelson and Ellen (Cox) Nelson. He lived in Leavenworth twelve years and in February of this year moved to Garnett, where he made his home until his death Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at the age of forty-four years. Dennis graduated from Bonner Springs (Kansas) High School with the class of 1977. He was a produce truck driver, stock farmer, and truck and automobile mechanic. On November 18, 1993, Dennis was united in marriage with Veronica Allred at Leavenworth, Kansas. She survives of their home. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICES: Mr. Nelson was cremated. The family visatation will be held at Dengel & Son Mortuary 4-5pm Saturday, December 13, 2003.
