Debra Sue Russell

Debra Sue `Debbie` Russell was born June 30, 1965, at Garnett, Kansas. She was the daughter of Sharon (Hermreck) Brady. Debbie was a resident of Winfield, Kansas, for thirty-one years, before moving to Hartford, Kansas, where she made her home, until her death Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at the age of thirty-seven years. Debbie was a loving and caring young lady. She greatly enjoyed visits from her family and loved getting attention. She also enjoyed listening to any kind of music and watching television. Debbie is survived by her parents, Sharon and Mike Brady of Ottawa, Kansas; two sisters, Sandra Zook and her husband, Terry, of Garnett, Kansas, Stacy Sykes and her husband, Marvin, of Hominy, Oklahoma; three brothers, Todd Brady of Ottawa, Kansas, Brett Brady of Ottawa, Kansas, Scott Brady of Lawrence, Kansas; two nieces, Shara Sykes of Hominy, Oklahoma, Fonda Cotton of Hominy, Oklahoma; five nephews, Justin Zook of Garnett, Kansas, Dallas Zook of Garnett, Kansas, B. J. Cotton of Hominy, Oklahoma, Shaun Sykes of Hominy, Oklahoma, Robert Lee Brady of Melbourne, Kentucky; and, numerous aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Odelia Hermreck, previously of Garnett, Kansas; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Russell-O`Dell, previously of Kansas City, Missouri; and, brother, Robert Brady, previously of Hominy, Oklahoma. SERVICES: Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2003, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev. Clyde Greisen IN STATE: Debra will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 Wednesday evening.
