David Tigue

David Tigue age 68 of Paola died March 3rd at the Life Care Center of Osawatomie. Memorial Service will be Tuesday March 4th at 7:00PM at the Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel 305 N. Pearl Paola, Kansas 66071. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. To leave family condolences go to penwellgabel.com. David was born on May 19, 1939 in Cowan Tennessee to Sanford Lee and Mary Ruth Gifford Tigue. He moved to Paola from the Chicago area and worked at the Taylor Forge Company for 14 years in Paola, and worked partime for the Paola Post Office. David enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and old movies, collector of Southwestern Indian Artifacts, spending time with his nieces and nephews, and especially his sisters. He will be missed by all that knew him. Preceding him in death where his parents, and three sisters. Survivors are his two sisters, Tami Connell and husband Dave of Paola, Micki Vollmer and husband William of Bristol Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews.
