David Lee Knisley

David Lee Knisley, age 67, of Ottawa, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at his home, where he lived alone. David was born on Saturday, March 3, 1945 in Highland County, Ohio, the son of Fullie and Mary Eva (Waln) Knisley. David was a security guard for many years. He moved to Olathe, Kansas from Ohio in 2003, and moved to Ottawa in 2009. David spent his life loving God and was a very active member of the Lighthouse Community Church of God located at 209 W. 2nd Street in Ottawa, Kansas. David is survived by a sister, Esther Royce and her husband, Richard of Greenfield, Ohio and a brother, Paul Edward Knisley and his wife Shirley of West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. The Lighthouse Community Church will be holding a morning memorial service in honor of David on Sunday, March 3rd, 2013 at 11:00am; this is the day of David’s birthday and celebration of his homecoming with his Jesus, and all are welcome to attend.
