David Lee Gordon

David Lee Gordon, 55, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Interment Whiteford Cemetery, Miami County. David was born June 11, 1964 in Paola, Kansas, the son of Robert J and Colleen (Morgan) Gordon. He lived in Ottawa since 2006, moving from Fall River, Kansas where he lived several years. David attended Turner High School in Kansas City, Kansas. Survivors include his mother, Colleen Ball and husband Ron of Garnett; brother, Robert Jay Gordon of Florida; and companion Sheryl Fratiello of the home. David was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Gordon; brother, Michael L. Gordon; and niece Kelsey Gordon. David worked many years as a construction worker and mechanic. He loved to go fishing, to cook and barbeque. He had a passion for working on cars and anything mechanical. David loved to eat and he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family.
