David Dean Weaver, age 61, of Ottawa, Kan., died Tuesday, March 2, 2004. He was the son of the late Louis Weaver and the late Marjorie (McGuire) Weaver. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri, before moving to Ottawa in 1992. Dave attended Raytown High School. He later earned his General Equivalency Diploma. He was a lifelong truck driver. He was employed by Colton Carriers, Denver, Colorado, in the mid 1990's to 2000's. He served in the United States Marine Corps in the early to mid 1960's, also serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Aerie Lodge #2700, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Ottawa, and Local #41, Kansas City, Missouri. In 1968, Dave was united in marriage with Priscilla Carey. They were later divorced. On November 29, 1999, Dave was united in marriage with Susan Koehler at Ottawa. She survives of their home. He is also survived by his: One Daughter, Daughter-Tara Weaver of Kansas City, Mo. Three Sons, Son-Shawn Weaver of Platte City, Mo. Son-David Weaver of Kansas City, Mo. Son-Paul Harvel of Atlanta, Ga. One Brother, Brother-Danny Weaver of Raytown, Mo. VISITATION: Family will meet with friends at Dengel & Son Mortuary from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2004. IN STATE: Mr. Weaver has been cremated.
