Darleen Glaspie

Darleen Yvonne Glaspie age 43, of Paola, passed away Tuesday, July 15th at the Olathe Medical Center. Darleen was born December 5, 1964, in Inglewood, California, to Dale and Irene Halm Glaspie. She grew up in the Park Hill, Missouri area and graduated from Park Hill High School in 1983. She received her BA in 2006 and her Masters in 2008 from the University of Kansas in Social Work. Darleen moved to Paola in 1995 where she had worked for Lakemary Center, Tri-Co, and recently the Elizabeth Layton Mental Health Center. She enjoyed her children, reading, surfing on the computer, movies, and traveling. Surviving from a previous marriage are her five children, son Brandon Lovesee of North Carolina, sons Benjamin and Byron Lovesee, both of Paola, twin daughters, Isabel and Esther Lovesee, of Paola, her mother Irene Glaspie of Tacoma, Washington, father Dale Glaspie, of Kansas City, Missouri, sister Jolene Glaspie, of Tacoma, Washington, friend and companion, Charmaine Sanchez, of Paola. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
