Danny Green

Willard Daniel "Danny" Green, 69, Louisburg, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Merriam. He was born December 23, 1947, in Kansas City, MO. The son of Willard J. and Marjorie Conrad Green. He attended Rosedale High School in Kansas City, KS. Danny retired from Lucent Technologies in January 2003, after 34 years of service. He was a past president of the Louisburg Area Recreation Association. He served in this capacity for two years. He was also a softball coach to area children for many years. Danny was united in marriage to Janice NovoGradac on August 3, 1968. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Waneta. Survivors include his wife Janice of the home, daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Leikam, of Louisburg, son, Christopher Green of Kansas City, MO and one sister Mildred Perrin of Kansas City, KS; eight grandchildren, Chase, Mitchell, Cole and Morgan Green of Louisburg and Kaitlyn, Samantha, Marilea and Trenton Leikam of Louisburg and several extended family that loved him dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LHS Marching Wildcat Band Fund or the First Christian Church.
