Daniel Duane Brewer

Daniel Duane Brewer, 67, of Osawatomie, passed away on February 16, 2025, at Olathe Medical Center surrounded by his family. 

He was born on May 19, 1957, to Clyde and Ruby (Corey) Brewer in Paola, where he was the tenth of fourteen born to the couple. Daniel grew up on a dairy farm, where he had many exciting adventures with his siblings and friends. 

Daniel was a truck manager for an oil field, a mechanic, and retired as owner of Country Tire and Corral. 

On June 20, 1981, he married Pat (Schroeder) Brewer. Daniel and Pat made their home in Osawatomie, where many memories were made.

Daniel was extremely active in his children's lives as they grew up, going to many sporting and school events, which then continued with his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending his time as a hobby collector, metal detecting, and listening to gospel bluegrass. He especially enjoyed his collection of 1964 Fairlanes and building VW trikes.

Daniel is survived by his wife of the home, Pat; daughter, Jennifer Knapp and her children, Zoey Farabee and Eden Farabee; daughter, Lacey Avery and fiance, Robert Pearson, and their children, Mitchell Avery, Trevor Avery, Wyatt Avery, Casandra Avery, and Aubrey Pearson; daughter, Victoria Davolt and husband, Jeremy; and siblings, Carol Kirkland, Max Brewer, Rex Brewer, Gary Brewer, David Brewer, Janet Moser, Lonny Brewer, Tommy Brewer, Tony Brewer, Freddie Brewer, and Freda Thompson as well as many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Virginia Brewer, parents, Clyde and Ruby Brewer, and his brothers, Jeffery Brewer and Carl Brewer.

Services will take place in the Main Building of the Miami County Fairgrounds, on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and funeral services will begin at 2:30 pm. Burial will be after the services at Mannen Cemetery.
