Dale Richard Rausch

Dale Richard Rausch, age 63 of Greeley, Kansas passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010 after an automobile accident near LaCrosse, Kansas while on a hunting trip. Services are at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23rd at the Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel with visitation Monday from 6 to 8:00 p.m. with burial in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Stanley Kansas. Memorials to the Paola Eagles Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home. Dale was born on November 9, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Loris and Mabel Donham Rausch. He graduated from Paola High School in 1966. Dale was employed with the Taylor Forge Manufacturing Company for over 30 years as a laborer, holding several positions over his career. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles and spending time with family, friends and his fellow members of the Fraternal Order Of Eagles Club.. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his brother, Vernon and wife Lois Rausch of Paola, KS; and sister, Donna and husband Clifford Prothe of Paola, KS; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his fellow Eagle Members which was his extended family.
