Dale E. Hoover

Dale E. Hoover,age 83, of Versailles, MO passed away peacefully with family by his side March 16, 2011 at Boone Hospital, Columbia, MO. He was born November 4, 1927, the son of Harold and Ruth (Graham) Hoover. Dale worked for Bendix / Allied Signal in Kansas City for 35 years as a machinist before retiring. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. He was a proud member of the I.A.M. # 314. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Ramona. Survivors include his wife Barbara Hoover, of the home; one daughter, Barbara Hoover - Schultz and husband Harold, Omaha, NE; one son, Cale Hoover and wife Harriet, Kansas City, MO; three step sons, David Mossman, Tempe, AZ; Danny Mossman, Stover, MO; Donnie Mossman, Smithville, MO; one step daughter, Debbie Mincher, Jefferson City, MO; three sisters, Betty Boyd, Thelma Donley and Doris Allen, 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and special friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at New Lancaster Cemetery, New Lancaster, KS. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. " 1:00 p.m. Monday prior to the graveside service at Penwell " Gabel Louisburg Chapel. The family suggest memorials be given to Louisburg VFW Post #7348.
