Craig Richard Allen

Craig Richard Allen, of Paola, Kansas, passed from this life on December 16, 2017. He was born to Burton and Frances Allen on February 28, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri. Craig served in the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge. He was a chef to work his way through college. Craig was not only dedicated to his family, but to his profession as a Senior Engineer. He was employed with Automatic Systems, Inc. (ASI) for 24 years. Craig was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debbie Allen, as well as two granddaughters Cloe Allen and Sophia Baily of the home; children C. B. Allen and Tina Watt, both of Paola, KS; and two grandchildren Trip and Samantha. In addition to immediate family, he leaves behind a host of extended family, friends, and co-workers. Craig was passionate about football, Harley Davidson, going fast and making trips to Sturgis with his best buddy, Craig. He also loved grilling out and smoking baby back ribs. He will be greatly missed. This is not good-bye, it’s only see ya later. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bikers For Babies. Private service will be held at a later date.
