Connie Lynn Whitaker

Connie Lynn Whitaker, age 64, of Paola, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, December 13, 2021 at Cross Point Assembly of God Church in Paola. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Cross Point Assembly of God Church. Burial will take place in the Paola Cemetery Connie was born Sunday, November 10, 1957 in Paola to Randall and Mary (Fickel) Inman. She worked as a teacher at the Osawatomie State Hospital George York School and the Paola Christian Academy. She also was a cook at Little Lambs Daycare in Paola. She had such a gift and love for children. Connie married Dean Whitaker May 18, 2008 in Paola where they also made their home. Her hobbies included flowers/plants, baking, staining glass and woodworking. She could make an old piece of furniture come to life. But most of all she could LOVE. She had such a gift of making people feel so special with her love and kindness that we all will miss so dearly. She was preceded in death by her father Randall Inman. She is survived by her mother Mary Ostrander of Paola; her husband Dean of the home; six children Christina (Ronnie) Davis, Michael Dillon, Timothy Dillon, David (Constance) Weymouth, Timothy (Jamie) Weymouth, and Johnathon Whitaker; 5 grandchildren Tyeus, Alisea, and Mariah Dillon, and Ronnie and Rylee Davis; five siblings Richard Inman, Russell Inman, Cathy Thomas, Mary (Shane) Ryther, and Paula (Mark) Arth; 8 nieces and nephews Jeff (Becky) Inman, Heath (Joe) Roberts, Bill (Eidy) Thomas, Sara (Jason) Sanburg, Nicki (Sam) Butler, Michael Estes, and Kayden and Noah Arth; and many other relatives and friends. Family and friends are encouraged to post their memories and condolence's on Connie's tribute wall.
