Clint was born June 7, 1941 in Nortonville, KS to Orville and Rosie Lee (Tittsworth) Holbert. He graduated from Paola High School in the spring of 1959. In 1972, Clint married Sandra Jenkins, with whom he enjoyed 34 wonderful years of marriage. She survives of the home. Clint went on to work at Lenexa Police Department until his retirement on June 30, 2006. Clint is remembered for his relentless devotion to his family both as a husband and father, his passion for Triumph motorcycles (ask any of his friends at Lenexa about being harassed about their Harleys), by his upbeat and positive demeanor, and his uncanny ability to brighten his friends and co-workers' days with his infectious smile and caring personality. Clint enjoyed spending his time at home with his wife, Sandy, remodeling their farmhouse, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his children and reading to and playing with his grandchildren. Mr. Holbert's casket will remain closed. The family will meet with friends at Dengel & Son Mortuary from 7 to 8:00 Thursday evening. Memorial Contributions can be made to Midland Hospice, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
