Clifford E. Partridge age 75 passed away Wed. June 18th at his home . Graveside Services will be Mon June 23rd 10am at the Hillsdale Cemetery, Hillsdale Kansas. Visitation will be Sunday, June 22 from 4 to 6pm at the Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Clifford Partridge Memorial Fund in care of the Funeral Home. Clifford was born on Nov. 13, 1932 to Otis and Delma Nell Ford Partridge in Hillsdale, Kansas. He was one of four children. He graduated from Paola High School in 1950 and enlisted in the Army in 1952 serving 4 years being discharged in 1956. On June 3, 1963 he was united in marriage to Zelores B. Adams in Olathe, Kansas. They made their home in Olathe then moved to Osawatomie in 1969. Clifford worked for the Brady Turkey farm in Paola when he was just out of high school, and after the Army he worked for the Sunflower Ammunition Plant and a Kansas City Printing Company before being employed for over 35 years with Smith and Loveless in Lenexa, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America Union. Clifford enjoyed traveling to Colorado, Wyoming, and Minnesota with family and in his retirement, enjoyed gardening, fishing, sports, bird watching, being outdoors, breakfast with his retired co-workers and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Bill J Partridge. Survivors include his wife Zelores B. Partridge of the home, daughter Julie and husband Darren Ramsey of Osawatomie, daughter Pamela Partridge of Topeka, brother Perry Partridge of Francis Okla., sister Laura Dieken of Torrance California, and three grandchildren.
