Clarence T. Martin, 94, died Friday, March 16, 2018 at North Point Skilled Nursing. Clarence was born July 30, 1923 in Crocker, Missouri to Clarence and Clara Martin. He was married to Dorothy Jean Keeney on April 23, 1949. They made their home in Miami County. The last 2 years he was a resident of North Point Skilled Nursing. Clarence was a carpenter for many years and then an independent truck driver. He enjoyed working outside and being with him family. Preceding him in death were a son David, brothers Welmer Martin and Emerald Martin, and sister Ramona Martin Round. Surviving are his son Doug Martin, two daughters Brenda Suess and Susan Grogan, 9 grandkids and 24 great grandkids. Visitation is 9:30 am, funeral service is 10:30 am Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Dengel & Son Mortuary, 305 N. Pearl St., Paola, KS with burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Stanley. Memorials may be made to Ascend Hospice in care of the funeral home. Family and friends are encouraged to post their condolences and memories on Clarence's Tribute Wall.
