Christopher Pfannes

Christopher Lee Pfannes, 58, of Topeka, KS, passed away August, 22, 2013 at his home. He was born November 4, 1954 at Paola, KS, the son of Clarence and Eula Ann (Barnes) Pfannes. He lived in the Louisburg area for many years before moving to Topeka. Chris was an avid reader of history and loved to fish. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a good man and was loved very much by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Greg Pfannes. Survivors include two sons, Christopher Knapp (Gina), and Vince Knapp, Shawnee, KS; four brothers, Mike, Andy and Nick Pfannes and John Conner; two sisters, Cathy Rantz and Cindy Laliberte; four grandchildren, Lyndon, Amelia, Addelyn and Alaric Knapp,eight nieces and nephews and ex-wife Shirley McGuirk. The family suggests contributions to the City Union Mission, Kansas City, MO.
