Christine Joyce Dillingham, age 64, of Louisburg, Kansas, died October 13, 2011 at Northland Long Term Acute Care Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born June 21, 1947 at Cherryville, Missouri. She was the oldest of four daughters born to Marvin Sutherlin and Clara Mae (Caron) Sutherlin Williams. She graduated from high school in 1965 when she was living in California. Christine worked as a bank teller for Mercantile Bank in St. Louis and was promoted to middle management. Christine later attended nursing school in Missouri where she earned her LPN. She worked as an LPN at St. Anthony"s Hospital in St. Louis. She had also worked for home health in St. Louis and Kansas City. Her most recent employment was with the Osawatomie State Hospital as an LPN. Christine enjoyed helping others. She was intrigued by birds, loved to watch and feed them, and provided bird baths and bird houses for her feathered friends in her yard. Frogg, a dapple dachshund, and Daisy, a rat terrier, were her two favorite canine friends. She loved taking them for walks. Christine was a member of the First Christian Church in Louisburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Andrew Carr, and two sisters Brenda Coffman and Martha Sutherlin. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Hunt of Louisburg; her son Jason Carr of Charleston, Missouri; her sister Marla Jean Lusk of Virginia Beach, Virginia; three grandchildren Mercades, Madison, and Gage Hunt all of Louisburg, other relatives and friends.
