Christina Eva "Chrissie" Slifer

Christina Eva “Chrissie” Slifer, 32, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church, 925 W. 7th, Ottawa.

Chrissie was born May 24, 1990, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Michael Lee and Lori Sheri (Bright) Slifer. She was a lifelong Ottawa resident, graduating from Ottawa High School with the class of 2008.

In 2007 to her passing Chrissie was employed with C.O.F. as a production worker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Chrissie enjoyed reading, watching movies and was a fan of Star Wars. She also liked to cross stitch and crochet. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed and remain in the hearts and thoughts of her family and friends.

Survivors include her parents, Mike and Lori Slifer of Ottawa; paternal grandmother Elsie Slifer of Ottawa; maternal grandparents, Patricia and Ted Hunt of Stilwell, Kansas; brother Michael Patrick Slifer of Wichita, Kansas; uncle Darold Slifer of Ottawa, aunt Farezzah Hunt and uncle Allen Hunt of Wheaton, Illinois, and aunt Carrie Nebel and uncle Drew Nebel of Olathe, Kansas.
