Cheryl Louise Howard, 74, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Saturday, February 20, 2021. Visitation will be held at a later date. Cheryl was born January 27, 1947 at Armourdale, Kansas, the daughter of Dale Edwin and Mary Violet (Roberts) Howard. She lived in Overland Park, Kansas, moving in the early 1990’s to Ottawa. She was employed with J.C. Penney Distribution Center, Lenexa, Kansas, in inventory control/clerical. Cheryl later worked in the cash office at the Walmart Supercenter, Ottawa. Cheryl attended the First Christian Church in Ottawa. She enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel, and collecting music boxes, chimes, and hummingbirds. Family was always important to Cheryl and she looked forward to the time they spent together. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two children, Cyrena Burns and Bryan Wilson, both of Ottawa; four siblings, Danny Howard (Sharon) of Grove, Oklahoma, Janice Haffner of Mission, Kansas, David Howard (Julie) of Kansas City, Kansas, and Mark Howard (Cheryl) of Lenexa, Kansas; and three grandchildren, Amber Krugjohn (Nathaniel) of Pomona, Scott Burns of Osage City, Kansas, and Maggie Wilson of Independence, Missouri.
