Cherry Gamble

Cherry Pauline Gamble, Paola, age 60, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 10, 2009. Cherry was born November 23, 1949 in Odessa, TX to Paul and Opal Norris Smith. She graduated from Liberal, KS high school in 1968 and attended St. Mary's of the Plains in Dodge City, KS, earning her RN degree. She went on to earn her BSN at St. Josephs in Wichita, KS. On July 8, 1972, she was united in marriage to Michael Gamble in Guymon, OK. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, RV camping, drawing, writing, and going to the boats. Cherry leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Michael (Mickey) Gamble; daughter, Liz Barnett and her husband Josh of Paola, KS; son, Andrew and wife Kristi of Hesston, KS; Brother, Eddie Smith of Amarillo, TX; Step sisters, Joyce Plante of Hayes, KS, Lois Gitgood of Oklahoma City, OK, and Virginia Camper of Oklahoma City, OK; Stepbrothers, Billie Ray Windsor of San Diego, CA, Charles Windsor of Los Angeles, CA; and six grandchildren; Kylee Barnett, Libby Barnett, Macy Barnett, Logan Gamble, Trevor Gamble, and Samantha Gamble. She was preceded in death by her parents; two stepbrothers, George Windsor, and Jimmy Jr. Windsor. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
