Charles Wells

Charles F. Wells, Sr., age 64, of Paola, Kansas passed away Sept 22, 2013 at St. Joseph Medical Center. He was born March 9, 1949 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana to Richard Francis and Laura Lucille Wiggins Wells. Chuck was an over the road trucker for many years and then was an EMT in Johnson and Miami County for Vern Hanson Ambulance Company in Paola for many years before his retirement, due to failing health. He enjoyed woodworking, working with his hands and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters and one brother. He is survived by his wife Patricia of the home; children Charles F. Wells, Jr. of San Antonio, TX, Valley Wells of Paola, and Brady Alan Wells of Paola; 5 grandchildren; and brothers and sisters Paul Wells, Herdis Wells, Carl Wells, Jane Wells, George Wells, Ellis Wells, Kenneth Wells, and Brenda Jones.
