Charles Edward Robb, 85, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Ransom Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 6:30 P.M., Friday, July 14, 2017, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Charles was born Monday, June 6, 1932, at Moberly, Missouri, the son of Alvin Earl and Charlene (Eads) Robb. He lived in De Soto for twenty years, moving to Ottawa. He graduated from Moberly High School with the class of 1950 and attended Kansas Art Institute in Kansas City, Kansas. Charles served in the United States Army. Charles was united in marriage to Sharon Chase in 1979 at Paola. She preceded him in death March 27, 2009. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Alvin Gene Robb. Survivors include his three stepchildren, Jennifer Stockstill and husband Glen of Ottawa, David Bengert of Paola, and Tracey Miller of Osawatomie; four grandchildren, McKenzie Hughes, Jordan Kirkland, Cathleen Pannell and Jack Bengert; and eight great grandchildren. He was employed with Quality Wood Products in Kansas City, Kansas, in the mid-1990s as a cabinet installer, for thirty years. Charles was committed to his family and friends and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed art, sculpture, painting, and billiards.
