Charles `Bud` Couch, 74 ,of Pomona, Kansas died on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at his home. He was born Dec. 31, 1933, at Hot Springs, Ark., to Claude and Georgia (Singleton) Couch. Bud was a commercial sheet metal worker over fifty years. Following retirement, he worked as security for the Nugget Casino in Carson City, Nevada ten years. He was a member of Sheet Metal Union Nos. 108 and 26 in California and Nevada. On January 21, 1951, Bud was united in marriage with Joanne Plaggerman in Yuma, Arizona. They celebrated fifty-seven years of marriage. She survives of their home. Survivors also include a daughter, Cheryl Jeffery, Reno, Nev.; a son, Dave Couch, Pomona; grandchildren, Jennifer Ludwig, Reno, Nev., Jason Davenport, Carson City, Nev., and Cory Couch, Portland, Ore.; and great-grandchildren, Katie Ludwig, Reno, Nev., and Ashton Davenport and Tyler Davenport, both of Carson City, Nev. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Dottl. SERVICES: No services are planned at this time. IN STATE: Cremation is planned.
