Cathlene Benita Zumbrunnen

Cathlene Benita Zumbrunnen, age 67, of Paola, Kansas died July 12, 2017 at Olathe Hospice House, Olathe, Kansas. On August 27, 1949 James and Rosemary (Watrous) Gardner were blessed by the birth of a blue-eyed blond-haired angel. They named her Cathlene Benita Gardner and the world has been a better place since then. Cathy loved her time she spent with family, especially her two grandkids, Charlotte and Zane. She was Perry Mason and Columbo’s greatest fan. Cathy loved to “party” with her friends and was always there for them when they needed her. She is still looking after them but she now looks down from heaven!! Cathy was preceded in death by her younger sister, Karen and her parents, James and Rosemary. She is survived by her husband, Gary Zumbrunnen; two sons, Brian and James Zumbrunnen; two grandchildren, Charlotte and Zane; one brother, James (Janice) Gardner; two sisters-in-law, Barbara (Terry) and Sharon (Glen); and many friends and relatives. “So Cath, we all say goodbye to a wonderful person”.
