Cathleen Renee Fisher, lovingly known as Renee, passed away at Olathe Hospice House on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the age of 58. She was born on May 31, 1966, in Ottawa, Kansas, to Charles O. and Delores (Madison) Williams. Renee's journey through life began in the heart of Ottawa, where she created many cherished memories.
Renee graduated from Ottawa High School in May of 1984 and went on to build a fulfilling career at UPS in Ottawa, where she devoted 26 years to fulfilling various roles, including clerk, pre-load, and work at the customer counter. Her dedication and hard work were matched only by her vibrant spirit and warmth towards those around her.
In 1982, during their time at a party, Renee met the love of her life, Randy Fisher. Their relationship blossomed over the years, culminating in their marriage on June 25, 1991. Together, they built a loving family, welcoming children Riley Fisher and Raeann Worthy (Nicholas), and they reveled in the joy of being grandparents to Charlie Worthy.
Renee is also survived by her brother, Stanley Madison, and her nephew, Aric Madison, both of Ottawa, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles O. Williams and Delores Williams.
Known for her fun-loving nature and caring demeanor, Renee had a distinctive fondness for sweet treats, particularly donuts. Her passion for travel and exploration of the world with her family was a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for creating lasting memories.
Visitation and services to honor Renee's life are scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Dengel and Sons Mortuary, located at 235 S. Hickory in Ottawa, Kansas. The visitation will take place from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by services beginning at 12 pm. All are warmly invited to attend and celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman, with a heartfelt suggestion to wear bright and colorful attire in remembrance of her luminous personality.
