Carolyn Ann Beeler was born November 28, 1941, in Wellsville, Kansas. After graduating high school in 1959, she married and moved to Overland Park to start her family. After raising her two daughters, she moved to Ottawa, KS where she made her home for the past 30 years until her death on November 23, 2024.
She enjoyed crocheting, was a voracious reader, and a creative cook. Her caramel popcorn was always in demand. She was fondly referred to as Auntie KO by her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed visiting and going out with friends and family and was always able to find the fun in whatever she was doing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Dorothy Cramer, and her sister Areta Latimer.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mayria Mustain of Wellsville KS. and Tara Beeler of Mission, KS.; one sister, Shirley Papps of Emporia, KS; one niece, Cheryl Black of Ottawa and two nephews, Steve Latimer of Yates Center, KS. and Jeff Eubanks of Emporia, KS.; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews – all of whom she loved spending time with.
Carolyn brought the gift of laughter everywhere she went and she will be missed by all those who knew her.
